Truck dispatch service that asks before every load
TorqueLoads is a truck dispatch service for 26 ft box trucks and everything bigger. We find the freight, negotiate the rate and make the broker calls. You say yes or no to each load, the rate confirmation comes straight to you, and the plan works around your shop days instead of fighting them.
- No setup fee
- Month-to-month, 30 days notice
- No haul, no pay
26 ft minimum cargo space. All 11 types dispatched equally.
Truck dispatching services where you keep the final say
Most of the dispatch horror stories we hear start the same way. Someone committed the truck to a cheap load, then called the driver with a pickup time. That doesn't happen here. Our dispatchers search the major load boards and our own broker and shipper contacts, negotiate the rate, and bring you the load with the numbers already on it.
Then it's your call. Say yes, ask us to counter, or say no. No reason needed, no penalty, no lecture. When you say yes, we confirm with the broker and the broker emails the rate confirmation directly to you. You read it and you sign it. We never sign a rate con for a carrier, and we never commit your truck to a load you haven't seen.
After that we take the part that eats your day: check calls, delivery confirmations, carrier packet setup, detention and layover claims, and the paperwork that follows every load. You get a weekly earnings report, and dispatchers answer nights and weekends.
What stays your decision
- Which loads you take, and which ones you turn down.
- Your lanes, your home time and the days you won't run.
- Your floor rate. We negotiate above it, not around it.
- Your service days. The shop appointment goes on the calendar first.

A dispatch service for truckers who would rather be driving
Running your own authority means two jobs. One is moving freight safely. The other is sitting on load boards, calling brokers who already gave the load away, haggling over a rate, chasing a rate con, then answering check calls while you're trying to sleep. Every hour spent on that second job is an hour you aren't driving, resting or working on the truck.
It also shows up in the numbers. A load that pays well on paper can lose money once you add the empty miles to get there and the dead days waiting for a reload on the other end. Cheap freight tends to find the carriers who are too busy to push back.
How we decide which loads to bring you
- Start from your costs. You give us your floor rate, or we help you work one out from fuel, tires, insurance, payments and your maintenance reserve. We don't bring you loads under it.
- Plan the whole trip, not one leg. Before we pitch an outbound load, we look at where the truck lands and what freight moves out of there, so the reload and the deadhead are part of the decision.
- Negotiate, then ask you. We counter on rate, detention terms and accessorials first. You see the final numbers and make the call. If you want a different lane next week, tell us and the plan changes.
Trucking dispatch services planned around your shop days
A truck that skips its PM gets expensive fast. So does a truck parked in a shop bay while a broker waits on it. When you start with us, tell us your PM intervals, the shop you trust and your home base. We look for freight that leaves the truck near that shop when an oil change, a PM service or the annual inspection comes due, instead of 600 miles away on the wrong side of a mountain pass.
The timeline here is an EXAMPLE two weeks. Drag the service day and the loads shift around it. Real weeks are messier, but the rule holds: the service day goes on the calendar first and freight fills in around it. If a good load would run the truck past a due service, you hear about it before you decide.
If the truck breaks down on a load
Get safe, then call the desk. We make the broker calls, explain what happened and what the shop is saying, and work through the options for that load. What's possible depends on the broker, the freight and how long the repair takes, so we won't promise an outcome nobody controls. Our guide on what to do when your truck breaks down on a load walks through the first hour step by step.

What our truck dispatch services cost
One percentage of the gross on loads you actually haul. No setup fee, no monthly minimum, no long contract. Service is month-to-month and you can cancel with 30 days notice. If the truck doesn't haul, you don't pay.
- 5% of gross: one truck with authority 6 months or older, on any equipment except a box truck or hotshot.
- 7% of gross: an MC under 6 months old, or a single box truck or hotshot.
- 4% of gross: two or more trucks with authority 6 months or older. This is a limited-time fleet rate.
On an EXAMPLE week of $6,000 gross at 5%, the fee is $300 and you keep $5,700. Set your own numbers in the meter. The full breakdown of dispatch fees lists everything included and the things we never charge for.
EXAMPLE week. Change the numbers to match yours.
| GROSS | FEE | YOU KEEP |
|---|---|---|
| $6,000 | 5% = $300 | $5,700 |
Fee per loaded mile: 12.5 cents. No haul, no pay.
Other rates: 4% and 7%. No setup fee, no minimums, month-to-month.
Dispatch services for trucking companies running 26 ft and up
We dispatch 11 kinds of equipment and treat them the same way. The rule is simple: 26 ft of cargo space is the minimum, measured on the box, deck, trailer or tank. Each page covers the freight we look for, the maintenance items that matter most on that rig, and the fee that applies to it.
The work changes with the equipment. A reefer has two engines to keep on schedule. A power only truck hooks trailers someone else maintains, so the pre-trip matters more. A flatbed load can hinge on tarp pay, and a tanker has its own inspection dates on top of the truck's. Our dispatchers plan for those details, not just the lane and the rate.
- Box truck dispatch
- Car hauler dispatch
- Dry van dispatch
- Dump (end/belly dump trailer) dispatch
- Flatbed dispatch
- Hazmat / tanker dispatch
- Hotshot dispatch
- Oversize / heavy haul dispatch
- Power only dispatch
- Reefer dispatch
- Step deck dispatch

Free shop tools and references for truckers
The other half of this site is the garage: maintenance guides, spec references and fault code pages built to be used in the bay or on the shoulder. Every safety spec carries its source, or tells you to check your OEM manual when the number varies by truck. Press the slash key anywhere on the site to search for a part, a spec or a code.
We're not a repair shop and we don't sell parts. We write these because carriers who understand their trucks make better calls about which loads to run and when to stop. When a job is safety-critical, like brakes, wheel ends or the air system, the guides say so and tell you when to hand it to a qualified technician.
Tools
- Preventive Maintenance Schedule Generator: turns your miles and intervals into a printable PM calendar.
- Maintenance Reserve Calculator: shows how many cents per mile to set aside for repairs.
- Tire Tread Depth Legal Checker: checks a reading against the federal minimums by wheel position.
- Trucking Cost Per Mile Calculator: adds up what every mile really costs you.
Guides

Get paid faster on the loads you haul
Broker payment terms can stretch for weeks, and a tire bill won't wait that long. If you want cash sooner, we refer carriers to RTS Financial for freight factoring. It's optional. Dispatch works the same way with or without it, and the rate confirmation still comes to you either way.
We refer carriers to RTS Financial and may be paid for referrals. Disclosure.
What you can check before you apply
We don't post made-up reviews or revenue claims. What we can show you is the written terms, the fee math above, and the weekly report you'd get. Here is the shape of one, with EXAMPLE numbers.
| LOAD | LANE | GROSS | FEE | YOU KEEP |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | EXAMPLE lane A | $2,100 | $105 | $1,995 |
| 2 | EXAMPLE lane B | $1,650 | $83 | $1,568 |
| 3 | EXAMPLE lane C | $2,250 | $113 | $2,138 |
